I was very disappointed with this book. While her website is very useful with information, the book was very repetitive and reminded me more of a nutrition/cookbook than a coupon guide. There was absolutely no information that was of any use to me, everything mentioned could easily be found online for free.
Most information that was covered was very common sense stuff, if you don’t know that if the store chops fruit and places it in a container for you to purchase it will cost you more than doing it yourself, or that a head of lettuce is cheaper than the bagged stuff, than maybe this book will help you. If your a semi-seasoned couponer though, this book is no deal.
All in all I would say save your money!

I really enjoyed reading this book! It is MUCH more than just a step-by-step coupon savings procedure….although, it covers that too! The book teaches you how to save not just by using coupons, but to the produce section, organic groceries, non-grocery stores, and much more! It really made me realized how much MORE I can save on anything I purchase. I’d rather spend my “savings” on something I WANT than the increase prices at the grocery store (and other stores too)!

I am not a big coupon user and my fiance and I don’t have a lot of time to spend cutting coupons. We like the book’s approach for all types of shoppers–We’re both “busy” shoppers and didn’t realize all the store savings programs you can use without having to plan. I also like the healthy meal planning ideas and the list of “cheap superfoods” to make healthy meals without needing coupons. This book is like a reference book that we’ll go back to again and again. I’d recommend it, and I’d give it to friends as a gift.

I never used to coupon but like so many these days I need to save money any way I can. This book is a great guide for getting started. I really liked the tips for newbie couponers as well as the section on saving on organic items. (my new years resolution is to go more Green)
I really like the no clip system for coupons since it makes it so much easier to keep track of them. (Clipped coupons grow legs, I swear!)

The Coupon Mom, Stephanie Nelson, really helps everyone understand how they can save everytime they go to the grocery. She says that a family of four can save over $6000 in one calendar year, that’s a lot of money. I also like in this book that I can still eat healthy foods while saving money. The book offers guides for every type of shopper, whether you are a super saving coupon lady or just want to get the best deals when you get to the store. Her web site, [..], offers all the coupons you need before you hit the store, and it’s free! Well done, Coupon Mom! Thanks for all the great advice.
