The Black & Decker MSW100 ReadyWrench lets you say goodbye to lost or missing sockets for good. This all-in-one wrench puts 16 of the most popular standard and metric socket sizes at your fingertips–just spin either of the tool’s two rotating heads to find the right size. With no socket set to store or organize, you’ll ma…
I’ll be honest, I have neither bought nor used this product but it seems obvious that with four sockets together there’ll be a lot of places where this won’t work well and some where it won’t work at all. Black and Decker should also be honest and not falsely advertise 16 sizes when it’s perfectly obvious that there are only eight. Yes, 19 mm is very close to 3/4″ but it is not 3/4″. If the standard sizes listed were equivalent to the metric sizes listed, there would still only be eight sizes although they could be stated in either metric or standard sizes. And while standard and metrics can be used on each other, the smaller the bolt or nut and the more edges it has,(hexagonal or octagonal instead of square) the sooner it will round off the corners and slip. The other problem that I personally have with this item is that when I think of sockets, I think of various sized sockets that fit on a ratchet handle. I see that this item has been tagged with ratchet but it has no ratchet and so does not ratchet. So, if I had been the person who approved or disapproved this tool for production, I would have told the design team to do one of two things before I would approve: Make it a group of open-end or box-end wrenches instead of sockets on each end, since they’re basically open-end wrenches anyway, being unable to ratchet; or make the sockets ratchet. And if the box-end wrenches were chosen, I’d then say that since they were making them open-end wrenches, they must make them ratchet. That’s old technology already.

I’m lucky that my husband does our handy work around our house but he’s been busier with work more and more throughout the years so I’ve decided to start my own tool box (I think all women should have one) and learn how to fix the simple things around the house.
Like Black & Decker claims, this has 16 socket sizes in this all in one wrench. Although I’m sure it would not take care of EVERY wrench job you’d have, it does take care of the most common sizes and then some! It’s very convienient to have it all in one device and not have to search for several different sizes. I just may get one for my husband if he’s really nice

I bought this for my husband and had read many reviews on it before I got it. It seems like it will come in very handy for him. I think he will really like it.

The bubbles are good but the wand is kind of funky. It doesn’t make big bubbles.

Sorry, don’t really know. My husband has left it laying on his dresser since Christmas. Wish I could be more helpful.
